Beauty Bags!
Who says that makeup bags can ONLY be used for makeup? I'm a bit of a rebel when it comes to these things and I invite you to come with! So what can you use them for?
I'd like to share my favorite makeup backs that I've used for various other things...from a night out to a bag for my jewelry! Take a look!
I got this back from a very dear friend! I needed something for my jewelry and TA-DA! It works really well when I travel or am in a hurry and need to put something on on-the-go! And of course...it's Kitty!
The hubby got me this one last year for Valentine's Day! I've used it to go out and store my most prized pencils and pens! I love how chic the satin is on the inside and I love the giant bow on the outside even more!
I bought this bag for Christmas/New Years 2010! I LOVED the way it looked with my outfit! The best part is that I was able to fit EVERYTHING and still have a cute clutch!
These two makeup bags are probably my favorite ones! I have allso used these when I go out on a summer day and don't really feel like carrying tons of stuff with me. I have used these for jewlery, makeup (of course), medicine pouch, loose change pouch, and a purse within an purse! HAHA! Yes...when I travel I use big bags so I place all of the things I need handy (passport, wallet, drivers lisence, ect.) in the makeup bag so I don't spend forever looking for what I need!
I hope this was able to shed some light on all of the potential little makeup bags can have!
Love, MUA! Janice

God's Girl...
"God Girl"
Oh oh oh oh yeah
If my eyes light up with I say your name
And it's written all over my face
Tell me does it make me crazy
Well, maybe I got somethin' that I can't explain
And the beauty of it never changes
It's got me wrapped up
I'm all caught up
I can't help but say
I'm a God girl that's who I'll be
From the top of my head to the soles of my feet
No I can't deny it, wouldn't even try
I'm your girl in a crazy world
I'm a God girl that's who I'll be
From the top of my head to the soles of my feet
I can't deny it, wouldn't even try
I'm your girl for the whole wide world to see
(See, See, See)
And when my ears start hearin' what people say
Hurry up find love cause times tickin' away
Well, I'm not bein' lazy I'm just waiting for
Still waiting for the right boy
Cause I only want to listen to your voice
So I'll be listenin'
Always listenin' to you everyday
Cause I'm a God girl that's who I'll be
From the top of my head to the soles of my feet
No I can't deny it, wouldn't even try
I'm your girl in a crazy world
I'm a God girl that's who I'll be
From the top of my head to the soles of my feet
I can't deny it, wouldn't even try
I'm your girl for the whole wide world to see
Your name in lights
My biggest dream
My all in all
You're all I need
Hand in hand with the master of all creativity
And I won't stop until I know
All my facebook friends and foes
Look at me and only see one thing
I'm a God girl that's who I'll be
From the top of my head to the soles of my feet
I can't deny it, wouldn't even try
I'm your girl in a crazy world
God girl that's who I'll be
From the top of my head to the soles of my feet
No I can't deny it, wouldn't even try
I'm yours
Oh I'm a love girl and I'll always be
From the top of my head to the soles of my feet
I can't deny it, wouldn't even try
I'm your girl for the whole wide world to see
(Your name in lights)
(Can't change it)
(Can't fake it)
(Can't break it)
(You can't change, can't fake, can't break)
(I'm your girl)
Oh oh oh oh yeah
For the whole wide world,
The whole wide world to see
Velvet Lips
Velvet was not only gracing the red carpet in dresses, it was also gracing lips! Look at Milla Jovovich and her red velvet lipstick! She looks amazing and MUA! is gonna show you how and where to get this look is a flash!
Milla Jovovich
Milla is sporting one of my favorite Oscar makeups! She looks so glamorous and simple!
Step 1: Apply a shimmery foundation or add a couple of drops of Smashbox's Artificial Light Luminizing Lotion in LUMINOUS PEACH into your normal foundation.
Step 2: Apply Urban Decays eye shadow potion on the entire lid.
Step 3: Apply a Copper eyeshadow on the lid and on the lower lash line
Step 4: Line the upper lash line with a black liner and a half an inch on the outer bottom corner of the bottom lash line.
Step 5: Apply two coats of mascara on the upper lashes.
Step 6: Blush your cheeks with a light pink blush like Tarte's Amazonian Clay 12 hr. blush in DOLLFACE
Step 6: Apply NARS Mat Velvet lipstick in Dragon Girl.
And that is all it takes to achieve an Oscar winning look!
Sending you velvet kisses!-MUA! Janice

Taylor Swift Makeup Tutorial
Oh, March! The end of the winter blues and the beginning of my most beloved season! Spring! This time of year only brings back memories of my childhood when St. Patrick's Day would come around. Every seventeenth at school was like an obligatory "wear green or get pinched day". I haven't forgotten and to this day, I wear green in fear of...getting the pinch!
So in light of this very "green" month, I thought it only appropriate to include a beautiful inspirational makeup! I saw this gorgeous look about a year ago when I came across Taylor Swift's music video "Our Song". I fell in love with it and since then have been holding off for the right moment to do a tutorial on it! I am so excited! I hope you all enjoy it!

RED BOTTOMS REVAMP!!
Ladies the results are IN!
We'd like to congratulate our beautiful participants for the Red Bottoms Challenge!
May I say that I was impressed and proud of how wonderfully unique each outfit was. Take a look at our lovely contestants!
::DRUMROLL::
MUA!'s very own Makeup Guru-
Janice Collazo
Pants: Wet Seal
Shirt: Ya
Blazer: Forever 21
Wedges: G by Guess
I adoreeee the Black and White blazer and the Wedges bring life to these red bottoms! It's a very daring move mixing the bold pattern of the jacket with the bold intensity of the red skinnies, but Janice executed it brilliantly! Both are TO DIE FOR needless to say!
Milly Nevarez
I particularly love Milly's use of the fedora, and the touch of fem with the flower accent on it! It brings character! The off the shoulder shirt accessorized with the statement belt bring a beautiful focus to Milly's shoulders and waist. You don't have to show cleavage to show a hint of skin! And her peep-toe booties are DIVINE!
Emille Hoffmann
Sunglasses: Juicy Couture
Scarf: Rikka - burgandy fur
Jacket: H&M Versace studded moto leather
Purse: Guess fur messenger
Jeans: Guess red power wash jeans
Shirt: Guess
Boots: Aldo Cowride Boots
Emille is what I would call a fashion dare-devil! From her warm adorable beanie, with fingerless gloves, to her gorgeous fur scarf and bag (both of which I'm in love with), she brings a wonderful power punch with this AMAZING jacket! Not only is she mixing both red and burgandy, but she's taking this outfit to new heights without compromising comfort and warmth. as Emille says:
"I am trying to warm up the winter, and bring a little warmth to central park"
Check Emille out here
That is what it's all about! Break out of the tradition cold and make Red Bottoms your own! I'm soo pleased and inspired by each of you beautiful ladies! Leave comments and tell us your favorite items from each outfit!
♥
Minny
